Emerald Princess Baltic Sea Cruise June 2011 by lovestoski

Overall we were very satisfied with this cruise. We traveled with 2 other active couples like ourselves who are all in our early 60's. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We know what to expect from Princess and have found them to be consistent in all areas. Continue reading Baltic Sea Cruise June 2011

Carnival Magic Wonderful Carnival Magic - Did not want to leave by poco loco

Our June 24th 9 day cruise on the Carnival Magic was our 18th cruise and 8th on Carnival. A few notes to share with everyone: 1. Currently, there is only 1 formal night on the 9 day cruise (now called “Elegant” night). 2. All ship taken photos can be viewed by slipping your “Sale and Sign Card” in a scanner in the photo gallery. (This eliminates the need to search for hours for your photos.). Norwegian Jewel First Time Cruising - Pro and Con by Gailmarie77

I am newly retired, and cruised with my friend and her husband. The occasion was his 65th birthday, so the date and ship was chosen by them. This is their 3rd time on NCL and they love "Free Style" cruising, dining when you like and without having assigned seats. Continue reading First Time Cruising - Pro and Con

Prinsendam Prinsendam...still The Elegant Explorer by janmcn

This was our first Transatlantic and our first cruise on the smallest of the HAL ships, the Prinsendam. Having sailed on the Eurodam last year, we weren't sure how the small ship would be, but it was marvelous. Yes, it's an older ship, but it's well-cared for and has a very nice layout. I love the little hallways to the rooms...they make the rooms much quieter. Our cabin was very nice (would have liked the "tub one" with the very usable tub, but there were no more when we booked.) Norwegian Pearl Excellent Cruise - Tips for the next guy by km5er

We took this cruise because it left on a Sunday and because it included Glacier Bay. We had a mid ship balcony and the room was occupied by parents and 23 year old daughter. The Room Bathroom was nice sized compared to other cruises. To the first time cruiser the bathroom will be tiny. Toilet area is a little small and "big jobs" are better suited for the public restrooms which have more knee room. Changing clothes in bathroom will be difficult for plus size people. It was tight for an average sized 5'!0' 195 pound man. Continue reading Excellent Cruise - Tips for the next guy
