Frogso Posted March 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2005 We've booked our cabin and are set as far as that's concerned. How easy/difficult is it to get around San Diego? We're going in a day ahead to combat jetlag. Has anyone used the Old Towne Trolley tour or the public transportation trolley? What time does the ship dock back in San Diego? Trying to determine what time to book return flight. Also, as far as the cruise is concerned, does anyone recall when the formal nights were? Any benefits to upper or lower level in dining room? Thanks for your help!
BajaFred Posted March 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2005 Old Town Trolley is a great way to get an over view of San Diego. The driver will give you a running narrative of the city as you drive around. You can get off and on at many different stops. This is the same company that runs the trolleys in Boston, DC, Key West and St. Augustines. It costs @ $25.00 per person. San Diego is a very nice city. Enjoy yourself. garydm Posted March 23, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2005 We returned from this cruise earlier this month. We came in the day before and stayed at the Hyatt. Seaport Village and the Gas Lamp District both within walking distance. On return, we had a 10:15 am flight out and were at the airport before 9 am.
