Murfee33 Posted July 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2011 If you buy a CD of your cruise trips, the first part will be advertising of the P&O fleet. The clips of the excursions seem identical to the ones shown during the Port Tour talks each day. The only clips taken while you are cruising are the sail-aways, and if you didn't go up on the top deck, you won't see yourself. You will be paying P&O for the privilege of watching their adverts, cost? £16.95:confused:
marylizcat Posted July 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2011 They do include more than the sailaways. Our Ventura DVD had a clip of my son on the bungee trampoline and one of me line-dancing!
Merlin7 Posted July 23, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2011 The majority is standard footage. You may be in port on a rainy day and but the DVD shows glorious sunshine!! There are snippets inserted of the actual cruise, but not very much.
silver service Posted July 24, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2011 totaly agree, have bought a couple of these, they do not represent your actual cruise. i will not purchase any more, maybe one for the carribbean next year, but no more!!:D
southwinds Posted July 26, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Just back from Aurora and our is excellent.... No ship promos... It starts with sailaway southampton... then lots of on board activites... shows etc... each port and two sailway parties... Gala Party night... with the Capt.. Often it will feature deck sports tournaments.. (but it was quite cold on the Greenland cruise so maybe that is why they were missing) No complaints here.
