What is a cove balcony

They are amazing! Had one last month on the Dream. We loved being so close to the water. Didn't feel the breeze of the ocean either. Lots of shade, so if sun is what you are looking for these will not be for you. I feel they are more private than other balconies as you can simply peek at your neighbors either. They are also a tiny bit larger than a regular balcony. The photo like as posted above is a great way to see what they look like. They are a great value for the $ and I can't wait to sail in one again, though only the Dream and Magic currently have them on Carnival..

I love being close to the water! But be aware, if the weather is very rough, they will somehow close them up.

It must have to be VERY rough indeed! I was on the Dream in a Cove balcony cabin. We had 30 foot seas and winds that peaked a 96 knots and they never closed our weather doors...

:)
