karenbeanpole Posted August 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2011 Please can anyone tell me what they supply in a Brittania stateroom on the QM2 regarding toiletries (shampoo, condition, body lotion?). Just need to see what I need to pack as we have to fly and I don't want to pack unecessary toiletries.

2irisheyes Posted August 15, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2011 Soames and Gilchrist shampoo and conditioner. I did not use them when onboard QM2 but brought them home and have used them. The shampoo was pretty weak (I have very thick hair) but the conditioner seemed ok. I have coloured hair and usually stick with shampoo for coloured hair. When we go on Queen Victoria I will take my own shampoo (decanted into small bottle) but not conditioner
Lanky Lad Posted August 15, 2011 #4 Share Posted August 15, 2011 Please can anyone tell me what they supply in a Brittania stateroom on the QM2 regarding toiletries (shampoo, condition, body lotion?). Just need to see what I need to pack as we have to fly and I don't want to pack unecessary toiletries. As has been said all the above are supplied along with hand soap and shower soap and shower gel and a shower cap. If you are on a longer voyage and use up the shampoo etc the steward will replace it. :)
karenbeanpole Posted August 16, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Thanks a lot - at least I know not to pack unecessary toiletries that take up so much weight allowance on the flight! Only allowed 20kg each. Not used to travelling light at all!
