~ fake carnivale pins ~

I notice the guy with the fakes still has them up on Ebay....so much for them investigating!

 

Someone over on the "Cruise Memorabilia" boards said that he watched that auction on Ebay (guy with the fakes) and it appears he made over $70 for the ones sold (Breeze and some of the ships no longer part of Carnival's fleet). I thought for sure those auctions would have been removed by Ebay, since many (including myself), reported them to Ebay as fakes or Carnival, since they are using Carnival's name/logo for profit.

ebay does not respond quickly to the complaints they received. It takes them about a month before they do any action against the seller. To expedite the process, we should contact the carnival brand manager and tell them to contact ebay . If carnival corp sent ebay a request, the listings will be removed within an instant.

Well...I finally got a Celebration and a Tropicale on Ebay....

 

but stupid me almost missed the Tropicale...I did not realize I had won it. :o

 

Thank goodness the seller contacted me and asked me if I still wanted it.

 

I don't check Ebay often if I don't have an ongoing bid....

 

now off to find a Jubilee!!

I don't know if the ones they give out to Platinum cruisers are that much different than the ones you can buy in the gift shops, but the one that I bought on the Dream faces left. The one he has on e-bay faces right.

 

 

Gift shop ones are different in color and size also.
