Princesss Posted August 27, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2011 How long (minutes/hours) does your sail and sign card need to be inserted in the slot machine to earn 1500 points ? The website does not mention a specific time frame. Also, how can you tell if you are already member or not from a prior cruise ? Do points accumulate with each cruise ? Rosefloater Posted August 27, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2011 You accumulate the points throughout the cruise. Some people can reach it in 1 night, some never.
Princesss Posted August 27, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted August 27, 2011 Well, after some searching I found this: "I just called the Players Club at 1-888-672-2582 and asked them how much money it takes to get 1000 points and here's how they explained it. In regular slot machines - for every $2.50 that is played in the machines, 1 point is awarded - whether this is your money you put into the machine or money you win in the machines and play with. In video poker machines, you have to play $5.00 to get 1 point - your money or winnings. Point system does not work on the table games. You give your S&S card to the dealer and they keep track of your play. Also, if you earn 1500 points on some ships (not on all of them yet), you now get free drinks for the rest of the cruise as long as you are in the casino playing. Jill" "Since you receive one point for every dollar spent (and that includes your money plus anything you win that you continue to play with), then you have to play $1500 in order to get 1500 points" So, I have apparently narrowed it down to between 1.00 and 2.50 to earn each point.
