Will we miss the dream ?

Recommended Posts

Off on Monday 5th Sept for 12 days AI adults only near Marmaris, reviews look good

(Marmaris Imperial)

We were on the Dream in June (a last minute £530 7 days :)) also last year

for our 25th,(costa lotta dosh:eek:) loved the Dream (hence 2 sailings !)

However I do love a large pool to swim in every day and the beach.

Think we will miss the entertainment on board especially in the evening, but you cant have it all ways , perhaps next time cruise and stay ?

(think Destiny did Turkey with the hotel we are going to as second week )

Will let you know our feelings on return

Happy Cruising All

  • 4 weeks later...

We have been on the Dream twice once last year(25 aniv) and also a week in June this yr see last above.

Loved it , but decided to try 12 days at the ex Club Majic Lilfe nr Marmaris

(now Marmaris Imperial) :)

(I now understand u can do this on cruise & stay )

The hotel was in a beautiful setting , and was adults only, perfect for a relax holiday, however the entertainment was rubbish in the evening

for me .......loved the two pools and beach and food ... but something about a cruise .each to his own. drinks in Hotel which was AI were not too good wine ok. cocktails rubbish, beer watered down.

However I am not a pudding /sweet eater but have not had better even on the Dream

think it may be down to the staff/ entertainment with Thomson that give them the wow factor

(and miss the Casino even just to have a look ;))

will save up and do both next year :D well will try

ps most relaxing hotel we have ever stayed in(no i do not work for any travel agency )

Thanks for this Stevie - we are doing a 2 week cruise next year on the Celebration, my parents are coming with us for the first week then 2nd week in the Mamaris Imperial. They like to cruise then relax so sounds ok for them - I don't think any hotel entertainment can compare to cruise entertainment though!
