Best inside on Vista class

Did I hear my name?

The largest inside cabins (and the only ones even I, as a single want) are the J- and K- cabins on Main Deck, and the I-cabins on an upper deck. I don't know the specifics of the I-cabins.

If you are looking at the J-cabins, then you must be aware of what is above you, and the noise that might generate, compared to the time you usually retire for the night.

The casino, piano bar, sports bar, disco, and Queens Lounge are all up one deck over the Js.

The K-cabins are under the dining room, so are quiet. However, they are a long walk from any of the fun spots. That could be a major consideration, too.

All of these cabins are very large, spacious, with a generous size bathroom. Storage is not quite enough, but one can't have everything.

Hope that helps. If there's anything specific, please just ask.

We are considering taking the Westerdam on the 30 day Tahiti round-trip cruise in 2013. The only way we can possibly afford this is in an inside. To all the experts (looking at you Ruth), which is the best way to go?

I'm a solo and on this cruise. I booked one of the large J's on the main deck. If you are interested in one of the larger insides I would book it soon, they can go fast.

There is a roll call for this cruise, so once you book, join the roll call.

The other larger insides are the I cabins on Navigation deck. But they are a bit more expensive than the J & K cabins on Main. I like the K cabins, being aft doesn't bother me, as it is close to the elevators to go up to the buffet, and just a flight of stairs or two to get to the MDR. I look at the long walk forward to the theater as good exercise. EM

Right on Ruth. The J's and the K's on the Main Deck are fabulous. I just wished the Vista Class would add some different ports of call in Europe especially.
