BayouGirlUSA Posted September 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2011 The carriage rides will cost around $15-$20 pp. I am from the New Orleans area and have lived here all my life and thoroughly enjoyed our French Quarter Carriage ride. It's definitely a must-do!

luvmysox1 Posted September 28, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 28, 2011 Is there a website you can reserve one or are they just on the streets available to people interested?
BayouGirlUSA Posted September 28, 2011 #7 Share Posted September 28, 2011 Is there a website you can reserve one or are they just on the streets available to people interested? Luv, They are there lined up in front of St. Louis Cathedral just waiting for you. I've done the carriage tours twice and just walked right up and was on our way in a matter of minutes! And, if by chance one would not be readily available, one would be coming in shortly thereafter.
wantocruisemore Posted September 29, 2011 #8 Share Posted September 29, 2011 Normally all you need to do is walk past them and they are inviting you to ride and telling the price. We paid $15 last Nov. for 3 people. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
packercruising Posted February 9, 2015 #9 Share Posted February 9, 2015 Reviving an old thread to ask how long the tour is and basically, what do they cover.
Chalker Guy Posted February 12, 2015 #10 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Were there the past 3 days, they quoted $18 per person for 30 minutes. Didn't do it, but it looked like fun.

disneyfan551 Posted January 21, 2016 #12 Share Posted January 21, 2016 Any recent updates on carriage rides? Going in April for the first time and trying to plan 1 day to see as much as possible! If it weren't for school, we would definitely be staying longer!
bjbear Posted January 22, 2016 #13 Share Posted January 22, 2016 I was just there in November and did the carriage ride. I think it was around $15 for a ride around the French Quarter (maybe 30 min.) and $29 for the French Quarter and cemetery tour (around 1 1/2 hr). I did the cemetery tour and it was wonderful, you stop and tour the cemetery. But either one would be great if it's your first time in NOLA as it's magical riding behind the horses! Have fun, Sue
