HiMagicFan Posted September 27, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2011 I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their wonderful advice and assistance!:D I loved Vancouver! Wish I could move there it was so great - lots of green, easy to get around and we had wonderful weather! We stayed at Sheraton Wall Vancouver which is bordered by Burrard street on one side - there is a bus stop location right there and across the street is the Big Bus Hop On Hop Off stop. It is within walking distance to Canada Place and the Seabus in one direction and the Aquabus to Granville Island in the other. We also did North Vancouver - Lonsdale Quay (had beavertails) and Grouse Mountain. I look forward to when I can return! It was fabulous. PS - many places took american money to pay but gave you change in canadian - be prepared! PSS - the bus takes exact change - in coins! don't try to use paper. PSSS - taxis were another good way to get around if you got tired of walking
HiMagicFan Posted September 27, 2011 Author #2 Share Posted September 27, 2011 Opps forgot to add: Other than Granville Island, Grouse Mountain, Capilano, Stanley Park and Chinatown. What else should I put on my bucket list for Vancouver? Day trip to Whistler? Day trip to Victoria? or even an overnight? Not sure what else there is other than what we have already done? Working on my next Alaska/Canada cruise in two years.
