Country Inn and Suites or Hampton Inn New Orleans

My DH and I are cruising out of NOLA in November.

We are arriving by Amtrak the evening before our cruise and will staying at the Drury Inn precruise.

On our return we are staying the day and night in New Orleans, returning by train back home on Monday.

My question is for convience to the train station would it be best to stay at the Hampton Inn Convention Center or the Country Inn and Suites? Or does it really make that much difference?

If anyone has stayed at both Hotels which do you prefer?

I have both booked, the prices are almost the same (booked Military rate) but need to make a choice and cancel one of them.

We plan to visit the aquarium and WWII musuem on our one day in N.O.

Advice please.
