Restaurants near Fairfield Inn in Ft Lauderdale

I read that the Fairfield Inn on Griffin st has alot of restaurants near it and that some will deliver to the hotel. Can anyone tell me whats around there and the options of restaurants for delivery?

Where did you read that, may I ask? There's basically nothing right around the FFI, except another hotel next door, and a couple gas stations on the corner. Oakwood Plaza has many restuarants of the sit-down and fast food variety, but it's over a mile and half by foot, and I'm not sure which one's of those would deliver.

There are a couple of restaurants around there.

 

Rustic Inn Crabhouse

Islamorada Fish Company

 

But you would find more restaurants on Stirling Rd. in the Oakwood Plaza.

DanJ I meant close by with shuttle. The hotel has a free shuttle, so I would just use that. I want to say I read abt the delivery on tripadvisor but I read so many reviews on that hotel yesterday that I cant be 100% sure.

Oakwood is probably where the shuttle would take you. You may find the shuttle only takes you, but doesn't bring you back, so I would confirm that first. Taxi shouldn't be more than $10-15 from Oakwood up to the Fairfield Inn anyway. Some of the restaurants at Oakwood include TGI Friday's, Hollywood Ale House, Moonlight Diner, Dave & Busters, as well as the typical fast food fare of McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, Quiznos, Taco Bell, and a few others I can't think off the top of my head.
