Goffs Caye

Carnival does not seem to be offering this excursion anymore. Does anyone know why? We loved it and were very much looking forward to going there again on our next sailing. :confused:

Here I thought I was going LOCO trying to find it:confused: Was looking foward to catching the trip right off of the ship and not having to Tender.

We booked it through Island Marketing for our May cruise. We don't mind tendering in because we wanted to stop at the pharmacy anyway.

anybody ever find out why carnival dropped this?

I just read about a horrific accident on a snorkel tour to Goff's Caye - can't remember whether it was through Carnival or not - in which a woman was hit by the boat's propeller and thrown against the side of the boat. She died from her injuries.

 

This may or may not have had an influence in the decision.

 

This was one of our favorite excursions ever and we really appreciated being able to leave from/return to the ship rather than having to tender in, which is why we did it through the ship rather than independently.
