Amy_girl Posted April 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2005 I am going on a cruise in November. I will be at Belize, Cozumel, and Key West. I am scared to death that there will be hurricanes. Does anyone know what the weather is like at that time of the year?
herbnjod Posted April 6, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2005 thats the last part of hurricane season...so u'll probably be fine...we went at Thanksgiving, and the weather can be cool at times(that 1st day at sea was chilly...*shivers*)...and it was coolish in nassau--so Key West can be cold at that time of year. But Hurricane wise I think oct and Sept, and aug. are more likely times.
Steamboatin Posted April 6, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2005 Hurricane season is officially from June 1 to November 30. However, in the past few years they have formed earlier and as well in early December. As for weather information go to weather.com and they will have world wide weather information by area, than country, and than by the cities in that country. Daily and also up to a 10 day forcast for each city. Enjoy Belize as we did on two previous occassions. We went to two different ruins and would highly recommend either one. Friends have taken the tube and cave side trip and really enjoyed that also.
RedSoxWon Posted April 7, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2005 You must be on Echantment. We sailed on her last year on Nov. 7, I think. Same ports of call. Other than a shower and some overcast skies in Cozumel the weather was perfect. It was 95 degrees in Belize. Two day later, we landed in Providence with two inches of snow on the ground.
