First time on RCL, does anyone have a comment about NADIA on the Mariner out of Galveston? Inquiring mind which can't wait to set sail again was ..uh..inquiring. Thanks,

does anyone have a comment about NADIA on the Mariner out of Galveston?

Have just returned home from the westbound transatlantic crossing to Galveston from Rome. Nadia was being groomed to take over from Luca Lorio who was leaving on vacation at the end of the cruise. She has been pulled in from Guest Services and was feeling a bit apprehensive about her first stint as Concierge. IMHO she conversed much better with the guests than Luca did and I'm sure that she will quickly settle in to the role and do a great job. Enjoy your cruise ;)

Hi Kathy!!! Just off Navigator yesterday (excellent crossing :D ). Carlos is no longer w/ RCI (we were told he is now married and did not return after his last vacation). We had a 'temp' Concierge, but she was scheduled to be replaced by Karin (sp) who was scheduled to return from her vacation as we debarked.

I do not see Maritza's name on the active list. Does anyone have an update on her? It is rumored that she has had some medical issues and maybe has retired. We have sailed with her on two occasions (last on the Allure in Jan 2011) and she is absolutely fantastic!!

On our B2B on Jewel just completed Monday, November 21st, Jasmin the current Concierge knew nothing of the rumor that Nadere was going to Mariner. She has regular email contact with her. We are back on Jewel for Diamonds in December on the 5th so will see if there is any news. :D:D

To email the concierge,use the 2 letter code for ship(i.e EX for Explorer),followed by an underscore then Concierge@rccl.com

The underscore is ONLY between the ships two letters and Concierge.

On ships with Diamond lounge concierge,add the word diamond in front of concierge
