Carnival Magic Very Nice But Maybe Bigger Isn't Better? by Darshan1

The Magic should, theoretically, provide more fun things to do than a smaller ship because there should be tons more space. Well, no. A lot of that free space is taken up by many more cabins and two more "premium" restaurants for a total of three. Since it's a new ship, it's obvious they're still getting the kinks out of their systems - figuring out how long they need to get everyone off and on the ship to shuttles for excursions, for example, is something they haven't quite gotten down. Norwegian Epic Transatlantic Voyage - Oct 23, 2011 - From Barcelcona, Spain by Pokerbee

Cagney Steakhouse - Excellent meal. 3 of us. Filet/lobster ($8 extra for lobster, above the $25 fee), T bone steak, Prime Rib. All meals were exceptional. Service very good. The entertainment daily onboard was very good. From the piano dueling boys in Headliners, called Howl with the Moon, to Jim on piano at Shaker's Bar. Another guy in front of the Whiskey's bar was very good also. Continue reading Transatlantic Voyage - Oct 23, 2011 - From Barcelcona, Spain

Seven Seas Navigator Regent Navigator-Fort Lauderdale to Bermuda by azgkrudi

This was our third Navigator cruise, our ninth on Regent overall. Although we had a wonderful time, we feel that Regent has gone downhill overall. We're not sure if they have reduced their staff, or if the inclusiveness of tours, or a combination of both, as led to the decline. Embarkation was a total cattle call, with us all crammed in the Fort Lauderdale holding area for what seemed like an eternity. I am sure this is a port thing which Regent has no control over. Noordam Noordam TransAtlantic Repositioning Cruise / October 2011 by hpown

As a traveller, I would like to know what to expect if I signed up for this Cruise next year, day by day. Hence the following format. This was our day-by-day experience on the Holland-America Noordam this past month: THE SHIP: THE NOORDAM: clean, roomy, beautiful. Staff very helpful, friendly and happy. Cabin ready for us and perfect, thanks to our ever-attendant cabin stewards SANDRI & YUDI. Continue reading Noordam TransAtlantic Repositioning Cruise / October 2011

Enchantment of the Seas Relaxing cruise by NOVA traveler

We live in Northern Virginia so we decided to go to Baltimore and take the R/C ship to New England and Canada. We just drove up, parked and got on. Very easy and cheaper than when we have to travel to a port city far away. On the other hand, we like the adventure of traveling and exploring those other cities so much that when this was over, my wife said she did not feel like we had really gone on a cruise. Odd, but I understand what she was saying. Continue reading Relaxing cruise
