Dena Posted November 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2011 We are thinking of getting there at 11. Is there any point in getting there earlier?
sweet carol Posted November 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2011 Hi Last time we cruised out of San Pedro we actually went at 10:30 we one of the first to board. We are elite and waited in the special wait area for About 10 minutes. It was like have one extra sea day. We really enjoyed this day.

Astro Flyer Posted November 26, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 26, 2011 The last time I arrived slightly after 10:00 & check-in began about 10:30. About 11:45 they began boarding & by arriving early and eligible for priority boarding I was onboard at that time so 11:00 should be good.

Rare Keith1010 Posted November 26, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 26, 2011 The actual boarding will vary. Sometimes early, sometimes on schedule and sometimes late and some of this is influenced by the disembarkation time of the previous cruise. Some of this is also influenced by how many ships are in port that day. I would arrive around 10:30 AM. Keith
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 26, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 26, 2011 Just wanted to add that this link will take you to the cruise ship terminal web site. http://www.pcsterminals.com/Default.aspx If you look for the tab for schedule you'll come to a calendar and if you look up your date of embarkation you'll see how many other ships are in port that day as well as your berth location. srphnx Posted November 26, 2011 #9 Share Posted November 26, 2011 A great deal has to do with US Customs as they are the stopping point of the previous cruise debarking. Princess and pax would be done quickly if it were not for those lines. We usually get there between 10 and 10:30, as far as we are concerned if we are at a port and can see the ship, the cruise has started. :D
