tour by taxi in SA ports

Recommended Posts

We will be sailing in the Infinity in March & wondered if we could just get a taxi

at the pier in Arica, Coquimbo, Lima & Manta to do our own sightseeing.

Thanks for any info. on this subject.

It´s not a problem if you speak Spanish or find a taxi driver that peaks English!

I don't know specifically about those ports, but I've spent alot of time in South America and agree with the poster above. Hardly any of the taxi drives in SA speak any english. At minimum you'll have to negotiate a price, time, and where you want to go (sometimes there may be someone to translate at the port).
