Hi all, happy christmas. I am currently on the AMA Lyra, in the dining room having breakfast. We checked in on christmas night in Nuremberg, after 10 lovely days visiting christmas markets in Dresden, Munich, Salzberg, Regensberg, Rothenburg, and Nuremberg. Yesterday we visited Bamberg, where i spent an hour in the cathedral listening to the most beautiful sung mass; what a treat that was.

Emma, my husband and I are considering the cruise to the Black Sea on the AMALyra next September. Did you find the food to be good or just average? I have read different reviews. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I am on the fence about booking a similar cruise. How is the weather during this time, is it too cold to enjoy being outside. I do understand to dress warm but how bundled would I dress to be. I really want to do the Christmas Market!!!
