no11important Posted January 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2012 The family is a bit active and a couple of the members are hoping that there are daily (or even every other day) Zumba dance classes. If so, are they free?
Krazy Kruizers Posted January 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Welcome to Cruise Critic. There have never been any Zumba classes on any of the ships that we have been on. HAL does have some learning classes for line dancing and a couple of dances. But nothing as physical as Zumba.
Rare kazu Posted January 7, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Welcome to cruise critic:) I haven't seen these classes - but there are a number of work out classes available:)
SJSULIBRARIAN Posted January 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Haven't seen Zumba on HAL yet. Maybe HAL will add them as Princess has Zumba already. Although I think HAL's activities staff is smaller than Princess'.
HatRez Posted January 8, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2012 We were just on the Zuiderdam a few weeks ago and there were no Zumba classes but I did leave the suggestion on my comment card. I'm an avid Zumba-er. There was morning stretch and relaxation, thai chi, aqua aerobics, walk a mile, pilates, etc. Most of these were free but the pilates and interval training were a cost, I believe $12 a class. There were other dance lessons like line dancing, cha cha, waltz, etc. No zumba but maybe my comment card will make a difference for you!
