Coach Store on the Allure

Is the Coach store on the Allure less expensive on the ship, or the same price as in the malls in the states.

From what I saw in there, the prices are the same to more expensive than the malls in the states.

Check your land prices before you board Allure, and then you will know how to compare. Remember, purchases onboard are tax and duty-free; the price on the tag is the price you will pay with your Sea Pass card.

I bought my wife some Coach perfume on the Allure last September and it was $6 less expensive than the Coach store here at the Mall of America.

The small purse I bought on Oasis was the same price as it was at home...of course I saved on tax, but that is pretty minimal

I do remember specifically commenting to my DW (while in the Coach store) that the prices were comparable to what we would find back home. It did not appear that you were paying any particular premium from buying on board.

My sister told my wife the prices were almost the same as on land, perhaps a tiny bit lower since it is duty free.

 

The only reason I can see buying it onboard is that you will think of Allure whenever you use it ;)

I purchased an over the shoulder bag at the Coach 'outlet' store in the states and it was $30 less at home than on the ship.......

My opinion, don't waste your $$$ except as a previous poster said, "it will remind you of your Allure cruise.." which is priceless:D Of course I purchased the bag for the ship which still reminds me of Allure!

I guess that's what I was kind of hoping for also. Def not going to spend vacation dollars on something I can get at home..

There is a huge Coach outlet store in San Juan and one in Orlando. That is where I buy mine - never on the ship.

There is both a Coach store and a Guess store on Allure. The prices are the same that you would pay in a Coach store--not a Coach outlet store. You have to know your bags. It is possible that they have purses in stock that have since been discounted at the Coach stores here.

 

I bought a really cool purse that in one of their 'international' bags and it is not sold in the states. I wasn't planning to get a new purse, but once I saw it I had to have it! Funny how that works.
