RockerGirl Posted January 13, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2012 The husband and I were planning on parasailing in GSC on our Florida & Bahamas cruise next weekend, but have been reading reviews that the Jewel hasn't really been able to tender there. What happens if I book the excursion in advance and they cancel? Will they refund my card or will it come off my final bill at the end? Would it be more beneficial to wait and buy the excursion the same day (if I can even do that)? Or maybe I should buy it on the first day of the cruise so they charge my onboard account, and if it can't be used they will just take the charge off? Thank you! Also..while I am asking about GSC, does the Jewel ever reroute elsewhere if it cannot tender? Or is it normally just an extra day at sea? TIA! Rare shof515 Posted January 13, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2012 during the cruise, if an excursion is cancel you will most likely recieve the credit as an onboard credit instead If GSC is canceled, then the ship will be at sea and the day will be a normal sea day
