kcdancerkc Posted January 19, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2012 If you can, go for it! As we've seen this week life can take unexpected twists and turns. We are going further south too! Doing the countdown!

cdamion Posted January 20, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2012 Those Southern Caribbean itineraries are great. Doing the same thing. Have Splendor in March and then Brilliance of the Seas Southern Caribbean in 2013 - will probably push it back to spring though.

It is expensive, we are going to try to make it work Side note: How did you get the ships that you're sailing on into your sig?

Normal 1 Posted January 20, 2012 #8 Share Posted January 20, 2012 Torchd - If you book your next cruise while your on this year's cruise.... there are generally some 'perks' (on board credit, etc...) Also, some ships sell 'future cruise certificates' (FCC). These are $100 each. You buy one (or more). They are good for 2 years and refundable. When you decide on a cruise, you book and pay your deposit. Then submit an on-line form to have the $100 FCC applied to your balance. Depending on the length of the cruise, you 'get' OBC up to $200 (12+ days = $200, 6-9 days = $100, 3-5 days = $50). These are a good deal if you know you will be cruising Carnival again. Not sold on all ships. See if there is a Future Cruise desk on your ship and see what they have to offer! Enjoy!!! Prepare for your new addiction! How would I be able to read more aobut it? We are really thinking of doing this cruise. And any perks would be great!
mondello Posted January 24, 2012 #10 Share Posted January 24, 2012 Thank you for the info about that. How would I be able to read more aobut it? Enter FCC in search box here on CC and you should find all the info you need. There is a desk on ships where they offer CCL credit cards and FCCs. On Inspiration it was located in a high traffic area near the casino and lounges.
Sinjan Posted January 24, 2012 #11 Share Posted January 24, 2012 Haven't even sailed our first trip yet (Grand Turks / HMC / Nassau) and the g/f and I already looking at booking our next cruise for March 2013 I completely understand that statement! LOL Did the exact same thing before our Dream cruise. Leaving on our second Sunday. Third is all but booked (going to get an FCC first). And looking at the third, just waiting on the June 2013 schedule to come out.
