getting cash in casino

From what i've read the best way is to use the S&S in the slots, take a few spins, then cash out. No fee.

ATM fee's on the cruise =ridiculous and often are out of order anyway. Believe it is a 3% fee otherwise to get cash from the casino.

I got hit with not only the ATM fee but some other fee which totaled almost $10. I asked the cashier if she could give me cash using my credit card or debit card. She said no. I don't understand this policy since everything you buy on the ship goes on your Sign and Sail card anyway which in most cases goes on a credit card. I suppose they are getting a ATM kickback. Due to a bad cabin noise experience on Carnival, we will sail them no more.
