kasi1979 Posted February 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2012 Hi evryone, we are cruising aboard Costa Serena in march. Now our question is: Is Costa heating the swimming-pools? Unheated pools are of no real use...
Capricruiser Posted February 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2012 I don't believe so. At least none of the Costa ships I've sailed on had heated pools (other than the jacuzzi's). The pools are filled with water directly from the sea and recirculated frequently throughout the day. If the ship has a covered pool, there's the illusion that the water isn't too cold. My only cruise on the Serena was during the summer when the pool was quite inviting.
