dolfin6857 Posted February 16, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Did I read things incorrectly? When booking with Casinos At Sea is there a different line for boarding? If so, does this also include those who book a comped room through CAS? Thanks in advance :)
che5904 Posted February 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Yes any guest of CAS can go in the CAS designated line (if that port has one). We were eligible for 4 different lines on our last cruise. We just handed our edocs to the person that was helping direct people to the appropriate lines and I think the Balcony cabin line was the one she put us into because it was shorter than the CAS line. aac1691 Posted February 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Are these reservations one that you make on the ship... I have heard good things about booking through CAS but wasn't sure how that works. This is our first cruise so I am mainly inquiring for future cruises. Doen't have anything to do with buying a future cruise voucher while on board. People that gamble can join the CAS and perhaps get enough credit to get a discount on a cruise or even a free one! Coastalbreezes Posted February 16, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2012 I know that in both New York and Pt. Canaveral, there was a designated line for CAS guests. TracyE

luvcruzing Posted February 16, 2012 #12 Share Posted February 16, 2012 I'm also curious to know if there is a CAS line in Tampa. I know there was one in New Orleans last year. I'm also wondering if my son, whose cabin I booked but not through CAS (didn't know at the time that I could book two cabins through CAS), would be able to board with me? They will probably allow your son to board with you, since you're obviously traveling together, even if in separate cabins.
VideoTech Posted February 17, 2012 #14 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Are these reservations one that you make on the ship... I have heard good things about booking through CAS but wasn't sure how that works. This is our first cruise so I am mainly inquiring for future cruises. NCL and Harrah's/Ceasars are both owned by the same holding company. As a result, if you are a gambler with a Harrah's or Ceasar's rewards card, you can work through CAS to book your cruise. If you are a player with another casino chain, I'm sure they'll work with you if you can establish your level of play with that casino chain. CAS's business is bringing gamblers on board the ships. On your first NCL/CAS cruise, they will use your Harrah's/Ceasar's status to establish a discount level and possibly any comps they will extend to you. On subsequent cruises, they will look at your gambling activity on your most recent cruise to determine your level of comp. In any case, if you have no casino memberships, but will be gambling on the cruise, you should get a CAS card from the casino service desk and use it while you gamble. Once you have accumulated enough points through play, they will extend you some courtesies in the casino, and you will be establishing your level of play that may help you with discounts on future cruises.
