2013/2014 Deployment Schedule(for bookings)

I agree, we love cruising out of San Juan for the islands and not having so many sea days. It's typically only about $100 pp more for us to fly to San Juan than it is for us to fly to FL. We are definately doing San Juan in Feb/March 2014, just trying to decide which ship and which itinerary or maybe a B2B on one of them. By the time we can actually book, we'll know what we are doing!

My feelings exactly. The ports typically have more variety (some touristy, some undeveloped rain forests, some beachy) and you usually get five ports in one cruise. Just like my new best friend, Packerfan said, it costs about $100-$150 more for me to fly to San Juan over Florida and it takes only about an hour longer. Cruises out of San Juan OFTEN run about $100 LESS than those out of San Juan, so it's a wash.

Where is Freedom March 9? There is a sailing listed on March 2, 16 and 23. Should there not be one between the 2nd and 16th? Or am I missing something? I had wanted to book March 9th.

According to this, http://www.creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Caribbean/Flyers/12029021_FR_Winter_Caribbean_2013_14.pdf, the Freedom is doing a 7 day Eastern Caribbean to Coco Cay, San Juan, and St. Maarten on March 9th.

It doesn't look like it is posted on the website yet though.

Im pretty sure she meant SJ cruises are cheaper than those out of FL..:)

I know. I just wanted an excuse to use the :p smiley

:p

:D

I need to book something. I think I'll call my TA tomorrow and use one of my Princess FCC's to book a Galveston cruise in November 2013. Even though I pretty much figured out I prefer Royal to Princess, I do have those pesky certs to use up :o and it doesn't look like the Navigator will be in Galveston then  - a few gaps in the schedule.

thanks for the jewel repo update...maybe my first b2b is coming next year! excited to see all the itineraries too. and pp is right, cruise fare is less out of SJ, airfare is more but for us the total is still within $100 of a mega ship out of FL...

I read something recently stating that the Mariner would head from Europe to South America. Looks like that may be happening.

And around the horn to CA!!! COME ON BABY! West Coast again, puhleeeese.

And Jewel??

Summer 2013 Amstedam and winter 2013 San Juan would be fine...

I truly admire you for your persistence! Keep the faith! :D

They will do to Grandeur what they did to Enchantment - cut her in half. Send 1/2 of her to Europe and keep half of her in Baltimore.

R&D

Freakin hilarious! :D
