Texas Posted February 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2012 We are six friends traveling to the British Isles this summer on the Caribbean Princess. First time on this ship for all of us and we have elected Anytime dining. With this option, can you make reservations for the Main Dining Room, or just alternate restaurants? Do we have to make reservations each morning before venturing off for our excursions or can you make them the evening before. Thanks for any feedback. gerryl12 Posted February 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2012 We don't bother with reservations but show up as the dining room opens for supper.
roe2ship Posted February 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2012 Making reservations on any given ship seems to be up to the individual Matrie'd. Sometimes it is allowed while other times reservations are not accepted at peak times (7-8). I had made reservations a couple of times, however for the most part, just walked in even at peak times without a problem. On formal night, there was about a five minute wait. Enjoy your cruise!:)
Potstech Posted February 18, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2012 Remember there are two Anytime Dining Rooms and two Traditional dining rooms on that ship. Never had a problem just walking up and getting a table. For a group of 6 the wait may be a little longer but shouldn't be a problem.

Which two restaurants are for anytime? They always had the Palm and Coral dining rooms used for anytime dining....over the last couple of years I have read on here that they change it sometimes on different sailings.
