marcel8004 Posted September 2, 2007 #80 Share Posted September 2, 2007 A drink is just a drink until you enjoy it in that special place. I vote for a "Pain Killer" anywhere in Tortola and a "Bushwacker" at the 19th Hole bar in St. Thomas. Lucky for me the 19th Hole is a short 8 weeks away!!!:D

marcel8004 Posted September 2, 2007 #82 Share Posted September 2, 2007 ..............did you have that painkiller at Pussers? My first was at Cane Garden Bay. There have been several more since then but the first tasted better. I always go back to Cane Bay and there always better but not as good as the first.:D

JoshGrrrr Posted September 4, 2007 #85 Share Posted September 4, 2007 Apple martinis. They taste foo-foo, but they definately don't feel foo-foo. I drink them at home. My friends make fun of me and call me a wuss, but they are drinking beer. If you really wanna argue it, which is more foo-foo a drink that's only 7% alcohol, or a drink that's half 80 proof vodka? Hey Josh: Saw your post on the Mariner and wanted to say hi! A baby huh? CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I added you to my buddy list, but I work evenings, so I'm not on that often except for during the day.
wnyguy2003 Posted September 6, 2007 #87 Share Posted September 6, 2007 Is the Coco Loco that you seem to only find on the Royal Caribbean line. We have tried to get them on Costa and Princess and they have no idea what it is.
JoshGrrrr Posted September 6, 2007 #88 Share Posted September 6, 2007 Hey Josh:Saw your post on the Mariner and wanted to say hi! A baby huh? CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I added you to my buddy list, but I work evenings, so I'm not on that often except for during the day. I saw your reply to my post in the Mariner thread but didn't want to clutter it with a reply. I would ask you how you are doing and all of that but I don't want to clutter this thread either. I will add you to my buddy list. Maybe I will see you on one day. I work days so our schedules are completely opposite. Does CruiseCritic not allow private messaging or am I just overlooking it?
wnyguy2003 Posted September 6, 2007 #89 Share Posted September 6, 2007 Yeah, don't want to clutter this thread up with that stuff as well. I'm off Friday and Saturday, so maybe we can chat then. I'm not sure what they allow. The only thing I know of is the buddy list.
XFire1 Posted October 13, 2007 #90 Share Posted October 13, 2007 Chocolate Martini on a Carnival Cruise. Glass was rimmed in dark chocolate. Anyone have the list of ingredients?
BaseballWife110 Posted October 15, 2007 #91 Share Posted October 15, 2007 I have them make a Fudgsicle Martini. Equal parts dark creme de cocoa and vodka shaken over ice. Take a glass and drizzle Hersheys syrup on the inside. Pour in the mixture. Heaven!
Jim&JaneFromWV Posted October 18, 2007 #92 Share Posted October 18, 2007 I had several Gombay Smashes aboard the Mariner of the Seas in September. It seemed as if the ingredients varied from bar to bar. The best ones came from The Wig & Gavel Pub. Tell Sharon I sent you!

queenbee2 Posted December 10, 2007 #98 Share Posted December 10, 2007 FYI! The bar staff finally got sick of me asking what was in these fun drinks. They printed me up what looked like a register tape of recipes! I think the computers all have them on them so the bartenders can print them for easy reference. Now I can mix them up at home and pretend I'm cruising all over again:). Also, I found that on Carnival the "drink of the day" was premixed in big jugs at the bar, and a bit diluted. After that I tried different (mixed on the spot) drinks, all delish!
tysaunt Posted December 23, 2007 #99 Share Posted December 23, 2007 What is your favorite foo-foo drink? Looking to try some new ones. Here is a few of mine.. White Russian Mudslide Chocolate Martini (ok, so it isn't as sweet as you'd think but it has CHOCOLATE!) Carrie It's got to be a Strawberry Colada - 1/2 Strawberry Daiquiri and 1/2 Pina Colada. It's swirled into the glass and is as good as it is pretty!!
