Hyatt Regency Miami

I've been there for meetings, but never stayed there. Large business class hotel that hosts lots of meetings, conferences and events. Dining in the hotel is not cheap, but there are better options in downtown Miami. Good luck! :)

Just won this on priceline for 9/14-9/15 for $100. Was hoping for the Marriott Biscayne Bay. Has anyone stayed here recently? What are your thoughts? I read a couple of reviews on trip advisor about bed bugs last year. Not feeling too good about this win.

Used to stay at the Hyatt Reg. Miami a couple times a year prior to cruises on the Majesty. I've always really enjoyed my stays, you'll be fine. Restaurant in the hotel is very good and you're in close proximity to Bayside, Walgreens, CVS, etc. Have fun!

The Hyatt is an older downtown hotel, the furnishings really could use an update. I would seriously doubt reports of bedbugs, but it does happen, even in the best of properties.

The bonus of the Hyatt is its location. Easy access to all of downtown via walking, or can access the free metromover via a covered walkway that connects this hotel to the Mover station in the Miami Center.

Also within walking distance is Filling Station/Garage Bar...fantastic burgers and the best micro beers in town, its a small joint, but man is it good.
