ellecruiser Posted February 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2012 It's been a couple of years since my last cruise and I can't remember the layout of deck 2. I know that you can't walk the whole length of the deck 2 cabins. looking at the deck plans there appears to be a gap between 2598 and 2600. Is this a dividing wall? Looking to book 2 cabins but don't want our party split up and there are no ajoining rooms available.
cb at sea Posted February 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2012 No...that hallway is totally open.....the deck plans are not "to scale"....you won't notice a "gap" at all in person!

Ocean Boy Posted February 20, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2012 The break on the passageway is between cabins 2568 and 2578. However, that gap that you see, and are concerned about, could be either a fire or watertight door and could possibly end up closed in the event of an emergency. It is also possible, but not definite, that the cabins on each side of that door won't have the same muster station. If that is a concern to you then get cabins on the same side of the divide. There is also another one between cabins 2628 and 2630
ellecruiser Posted February 20, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted February 20, 2012 Thank you for that, I never even thought about different muster stations, my mum is going with us and I'd hate for her to be seperated even just for the muster drill, she's never cruised before. I'll check that out before booking cabins. :)
