hotels near galveston cruise terminal

HI I am wondering are there any hotels that are near the cruise terminal that you can actually see ship when it comes in and is docked? Thanks

Harbor House is at Pier 21.

We were in Galveston in Feb. and stayed at a La Quinta far away from anything and didn't have a car. I am going to try for Harbour House for Feb. 2013 but due to Mardi Gras things are booking up quick. Does anyone have any suggestions for somewhere to stay near restaurants and shops? If they do not have a shuttle we will take a cab. Harbour House was great in 2011 cruise! Thanks for any ideas.
