Hi Again Folks,

We are on the Ruby out of FLL on March 11th. We are staying at the Sheraton on the beach through Princess the night before and transferring to the port with Princess. Does anyone know the procedure? Do they come by early in the morning to get our checked luggage and then we meet them later in the lobby with our carry-ons for the transfer to the pier? Does anyone know what time they might pick us up at the hotel?

Sinc e you have purchased a Princess package, you will be met at the airport by a Princess representative after collecting you luggage and then transported to the hotel.

You will be told what time on the morning of the cruise to have your luggage ready and what time to be in the lobby to identify your luggage and board the bus.

I do not know what time you will leave the hotel for the pier, but I suspect late morning or early afternoon.

We did this last April on our Panama Canal cruise. It went smoothly. Our luggage was picked up in our room. We checked in with the Princess Rep. in the Sheraton Hotel lobby. (along with our carry-on) Our luggage was set aside with everyone else on the same cruise. The Princess Shuttle picked us and our luggage up around 11am. They handle your luggage from the time it leaves your hotel room and until it arrives to your stateroom on the ship. We have done this with our past few cruises and will do it again this November. Have a wonderful cruise.

Marion :)
