SugarNSpice8104 Posted February 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2012 I know you can write little things in on the room service breakfast menu, but I LOVE blueberry pancakes and could eat them everyday. Has anyone ever tried to write in specif items like this? If so, was it able to be done?
CarefreeCruising Posted February 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Some will tell you that you can write things in on the room service menu. We tried writing in pancakes once and were told they couldn't do that. I think it just depends on the staff.
cb at sea Posted February 22, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2012 I wrote in "croissant" and got them...that wasn't on the pre-printed menu. But...it wasn't something they actually had to "make"....they are pre-made and they stuck some on a plate!
kc320 Posted February 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2012 I've tried writing French Toast on the hanging tag & was told no...so wouldn't hold out a lot of hope for BB pancakes...course if you book a GS or higher you can get whatever you want for breakfast...:D;)
sherilyn70 Posted February 22, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2012 All I wrote was "with cheese" next to my scrambled eggs and they couldn't even do that much.

Croissants are generally a part of the standard room service pastry basket, that is likely why your “special order” was fulfilled with no issue. You ordered an item that is available to everyone, just not listed separately on the menu. enjoy M
Marie51 Posted February 22, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2012 I've written in banana and gotten it. I'm assuming blueberry pancakes would be avaliable in the dining room or Windjammer.
