Taxi time from Philipsburg to Grand Case

We will be in port on the Eclipse next week and there are 4 other large ships in port at the same time. Last time we were in St. Martin our ship was the only one, and getting around was no problem.

 

We want to go to Grand Case, but are concerned that traffic will be heavy and it might be hard to quickly get a taxi back. Dawn Beach is our 2nd choice (much closer and probably easier to get a taxi), but our friends are hoping to snorkel and eat at one of the French bistros. Dawn beach is probably not going to work for either.

 

Any ideas on travel time to Grand Case with 5 ships in port?

45 minutes should be enough for the way to Grand Case. I would leave a good 1 hr and 30 minutes prior to needing to be back on the ship. I really like Grand Case and think that it is worth the effort.
