Cruising this weekend (4/23/05). We'd be interested in your experiences with the Movies. Can you reserve lounge chairs? How does this compare to going to the shows? Any other comments or suggestions?

It is a great experience, they exchange the lounge chair pillows with much thicker ones, give you a blanket and free popcorn and they come around with candy to purchase if you want.Don't miss it!

We just got back and made reservations as soon as we got on the ship for the 10:00 o'clock show. I agree that time will go fast. You have to call on the phone to make reservations and you call the conceirge. I think there is an acutal conceirge button on your phone to call. You can ask them what the movies are for the day you want.

Also we sat in the very back and found it hard to hear. I would suggest sitting near the front. But it was awesome to be sitting there at night with a blanket wrapped around you eating popcorn with at foo foo drink. We saw Finding Neverland, but they had Shall we Dance also. This was on the April 9th sailing. Don't know when they change the movies.

They have two shows each night 7:00 and 10:00 almost every night. The schedule of what's playing when will be in your Princess Patters as soon as you board. Choose which shows you want to see, when and then call the concierge to reserve.

We saw "13 going on 30" in October last year. It was fabulous! Not only is the picture very clear at night (much better than daytime), but the sound is awesome too. That movie has lots of cool 80's music and it was really fun and a nice to remember.

Agree with the previous posts: Get reservations! We liked the 10:00 time best and it is popular. Have fun!
