Lady Oceanic Posted February 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 29, 2012 Does anyone know if Princess offers a wine or cocktail card like Holland America? Sally:)
paul929207 Posted February 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 29, 2012 No cocktail card. They are experimenting with a wine card on some of the ships. It has been reported on the Crown, Coral and Island
Sassy's Mom Posted February 29, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 29, 2012 To the best of my knowledge and research, there are no alcohol "cards" to be purchased. But if you are interested in saving some money, use the search feature here on CC for "wine package" as it is being tested out on some of the ships. Enjoy your cruise! Lady Oceanic Posted February 29, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted February 29, 2012 Thanks Paul and Missi. I always used the "wine card" on HAL. It saved you a few dollars. Thanks again. Sally;)
MsJ Posted March 1, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 1, 2012 Hello, We were on the Crown last week and we purchased a wine package. They were offered as silver-up to 29.00 per bottle and gold--up to 45.00 per bottle. You can also pick 5 bottle ,7 bottles and I cant remember the rest:) We bought the 7 bottle 29.00 package. Not a big choice. I did buy a bottle of a better white for 32.00 and just paid the difference. I think we saved about 20-25 dollars. If we do it again I would pick the gold package. The 15% gratuity was also paid for the 7 bottles at the time of purchase. I am not a big wine drinker as I get older...but I sure did enjoy the frozen margaritas each night at sunset!
