What's in your carry on bag?

We fly in but my carry on would be the same either way. A book/magazine (it can sometimes take quite a while for your room to be ready), a change of clothes, all my meds, contact supplies, all of my travel documents, camera, and a bottle of water. Plus my purse and all of it's normal things.

So it is only people who are flying in and getting the airline or princess to forward bags that could possibly get them lost isn't it?

They wouldn't lose them from the port entry to the ship would they?

Bags have been lost between the port and getting on the ship. This most often can happen when there are several ships at the same port facility, and/or if your bags aren't clearly marked. They end up on the wrong ship.

There have also been stories told here of luggage being dropped into the ocean as it is being boarded, and showing up in your cabin soaking wet. So the carry-on is useful there, too.
