back to back but not the same cabin

Recommended Posts

Booked a back to back cruise on the ALLURE 4/15/2012 first cruise 4/22/2012 second cruise but do not have the same cabin, what do I do with my luggage carry it off the ship to the waiting room?? Notify the desk, my cabin stewart or what? How far in advance do I notify anyone?

Did you book through a TA or via RCCL? The bookings need to be linked. Your clothes will be moved for you by room stewards. As you are on a B2B you will be issued with a new sea pass anyway on turnaround day. Obviously this will be for the new room.

What category cabin did you book for each, you may be able to find the same cabin for both cruises. How many people in the cabin?

From what I have read from Patti and others, in doing a b2b, you will go to a disignated area and be escorted off the ship together, receive your new Sea Pass Cards and brought back on. Sometimes they will even have a lunch for you. Notify your Cabin Steward that you will be moving to a differant room, pack only your carry on items & everything else from the drawers etc, they will move everything else from the closet on a rack to your new room. Also be sure and link your 2nd cruise to the first and this can be done through your TA or RCL. Your charges from the first cruise will be closed upon a zero balance and a new one opened up for the 2nd cruise.

I would first call RCCL and see if there was a way to get the same room or if A room close to yours is available for the two weeks. We did a B2B in January and had to move.We put as much as we could on hangers and as little as you can in your cases. It makes it easier. We had to go to the Viking lounge bet 8 &9 am in the morning for our SeaPass for our new room. After we had breakfast we went back to our old room and the move was already made.Make sure you remind your steward of the move and they will talk to the other sterward and He/she will make up that room first as long as it is empty first. We did have a private lunch just for B2B in the dining room.BTW we were on the Seranade.

Enjoy
