4, 4, 2 year old to Doctors Cove Beach/Pork Pitt within walking distance?

We r in Montego Bay on the carnival magic in two weeks. We have 4 year old twins and 2.5 year old. Debating between Doctor's Cove Beach and Walter Fletch Beach. Would also like to go to Pork Pitt for lunch.

 

I've read that all is within walking distance but with young children I'm wondering if it really is within walking distance? If we get the hop off hop on shuttle pass will they drop you off at these locations or do they have designated stops? We aren't interested in shopping so I was going to just get a taxi from port to beach and back...and walk...to pork pitt from doctor's cove beach..but my kids won't walk too far? Do any of you know how far pork pitt is from either one of these beaches (we were leaning towards Doctors cove)
