ebbie1081 Posted April 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2012 Hi all, I posted this on the West Coast departures page too because I"m really curious what people think. I'm thinking of a cruise aboard the NCL Pearl to Alaska. It returns to Seattle at 8am. Would booking a 1:30pm flight be too risky? Thanks in advance. This means the difference of going or not going. Rare NorbertsNiece Posted April 5, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2012 Hi, There should be somewhere on the NCL site or with your paperwork which tells you the recommended times for booking flights out. Alternatively have you asked on the NCL board?
muah3iluvzu06 Posted April 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2012 I live in Seattle. If the cruise gets in at 8am and your flight is at 1:30pm, you will be fine.
alcpa1 Posted April 6, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2012 You should be just fine and will not have to use early disembarkation. I would recommend you take a cab as opposed to the ship's transfer. If there is any delay in docking/clearance the cab will be a much faster means of transportation to the airport.
Rare FlyerTalker Posted April 6, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2012 Also, if you take a cab, it may be advantageous to possibly be dropped off on the lower (arrivals) level. Just have your driver take whichever drive is the least backed up. If you hit arrivals, it's a simple escalator or elevator up to the departure level. Budget Queen Posted April 6, 2012 #6 Share Posted April 6, 2012 This is a very doable flight time.
