Is Horseshoe Bay Beach calm or doed it have substantial waves?

You can never tell what the water will be like. Sometimes there are practically no waves at all and other time there are undertow warnings. DH likes to body surf and in all the times we've been there, he was able to do it only once. One time I was just floating around in very calm water, another time I was hit upside the head by a big wave.

Additionally, you can walk up the beach towards Jobson's or Chaplin and find bigger waves. It can depend on the current and how it hits the reefs.
