ThornPhoenix Posted April 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2005 Hi y'all, We'll be sailing Serenade of the Seas middle of July and on Friday of our cruise we'll be cruising Misty Fjords from 6pm-8pm. We have early dinner seating (what time does that start...6:00 or 6:15 or 6:30??). Anyway, just curious how others with early dinner seating have managed to have dinner AND to see the Misty Fjords. My presumption is that you can't do both. As such, I'm considering possibly doing the 8:30 seating at Chops or Portofino's this evening so that we can enjoy Misty Fjords. What do you all think? Is it worth adjusting our dinner plans so that we can see Misty Fjords or are Misty Fjords over-rated (e.g. no big deal). Any other ideas folks have? Thanks much! CruiseIsGood Posted April 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2005 You'll never worry about being fed on a cruise. :) Yes, Misty Fjords is worth it. Very much so. You can do buffet/grill/room service before or after, or do the fancier options. You can also dine in town before you go.
ripleysmom Posted April 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2005 I think you can also order room service if you have a balcony and watch from your room.
Budget Queen Posted April 27, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2005 This isn't the time to worry about food. :) Yes- book the late alt dining for that night and get OUT on deck. I don't recommend balcony viewing since you are only getting 50%. Superior are the full front viewing, extremely scenic sailing, don't miss it. :)
