redpatti Posted April 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2012 Sounds to me like it's some kind of game. Not sure if it is specific to NCL (thought I saw mention of it on other cruise line threads)? Can someone explain it to me please? Thanks in advance!!
Havin'fun Posted April 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2012 Quest is an adult scavenger hunt. It is played on NCL and Royal Caribbean. You are either on a team or rooting for a team. The team captain must bring to the host what is asked for. Quest is usually played later at night as it is an adult game.. If you are not easily offended Quest is ALOT of fun! You will probably find that this is the most info you may get about Quest - it is best experienced not explained ;)
sail7seas Posted April 24, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2012 Is it played on all NCL ships?
sparkscruiser Posted April 24, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 24, 2012 Carnival also has a similar game for the adults.... Did this on Rhapsody of the Seas and it was a blast!
0bnxshs Posted April 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 24, 2012 Norwegian Sun did not have this on our Sep/Oct 2011 T/A cruise and they refused our Cruise Critic roll call group request to let us play our own scavenger hunt game as well. Said it was too annoying to other passengers. They did let us do a Cabin Crawl/Poker Run though.
Krazy Kruizers Posted April 24, 2012 #6 Share Posted April 24, 2012 HAL used to have a similar version of what was called Sea Quest. It was played on the last sea day -- in the morning -- before the disembarkation talk -- in the show room. Everyone there was broken down into 3 groups. The CD and his workers would call out for certain items and people would rush up that item to the stage. After some people sailed on a few cruises - people knew what to bring to the lounge so that their "team" could win even though no prizes were given out.
