Boytjie Posted May 4, 2012 #51 Share Posted May 4, 2012 At what age are we considered "elderly"? Humph! It depends on who is doing the considering ;) I have to laugh at the teens and tweens calling 40 year old's "old".
Boytjie Posted May 4, 2012 #52 Share Posted May 4, 2012 I'm willing to be considered "elderly" at any age someone is willing to give extra benefits or services to me. :D Do you ever score extra chocolates because of age? :D Quick OT one for Ruth: you won't believe this.... A week ago we were taking a friend out to dinner for his birthday and I popped into Neuhaus on Madison Avenue to get him a box of chocolates. The person serving me offered me a sample which I gladly accepted - yummy dark chocolate. Someone else rang the purchase up and offered me a sample. I was so tempted but I fessed up that I had one already and I turned it DOWN! I know, sacrilege, but I did not want to spoil my dinner by having too much Belgian chocolate beforehand. mamaofami Posted May 4, 2012 #55 Share Posted May 4, 2012 I recognized some of the crew in the beginning of the video from our January Maasdam cruise. They were great. Lucky for me that most of those desserts don't taste as good as they look.
