Take into consideration the time you dock; the walk or ride down the pier; a wait for a taxi (we waited 20 minutes last time as they have some system for who gets on which taxi) and then the ride to the resort. You have already used one hour.

The rate is for all day. Why not contact them and see what they advise? They are great to work with and would give you an honest answer.

Look also at places along the Malecon and read what others have done that is closer to the port.

You DO NOT want to be left here nice as it is:)
