jimbug Posted May 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2005 Over 3 weeks ago, I cancelled our upcoming cruise (for March 06) on the NCL Sun through my TA (changed our minds and going to try out MSC). I still haven't received the refund on my credit card...now I trust that my TA cancelled it through NCL because we have the cancellation #, and if I go to the NCL website to pre-register our immigration for the same cruise, it does not show up as a valid booking number. I was just wondering if NCL tends to take quite a big longer for a refund? I've cancelled with Celebrity AND Carnival before, and both times, we were credited within 3-5 days. Thanks! zimmerjulie Posted May 6, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2005 I am interested to read the answers, too. It seems like in the past, some posters have reported that it took longer than they expected. Luckily I have never had to cancel a cruise, so I do not know first-hand.
seahorse Posted May 6, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 6, 2005 It takes a while:( Bear in mind that they are innundated with refunds from "the wave" cruise. Jimbug, sorry to see you canceled. MSC is OK but it is entirely different from NCL. I was on the ship. They are really, really trying to cater to the North Americans, by then I hope they succeed.
