Almaplena changes cancellation policy

I have been corresponding with Monica about their cancellation policy and my concerns of no refund if you cancel. Also, I questioned the disparity about their cancellation policy and Excursioneer's policy which offers a AI visit at Almplena. Monica has been very prompt in responding to my emails and after consideration has changed their "no refund" policy. I asked Monica if she would like for me to post the change on Cruise Critic and she said please do so.

 

Here is the new policy that I received in an email tonight:

 

We are not working anymore with Excursioneer agency.

 

Payment:

We require payment in full.

 

Cancellation Policy:

We apply 100% refund if your ship does not dock in Costa Maya for whatever reason.

100% refund if you decide to cancel your trip. We only require that you notify us with a minimum of 7 days advance notice before arrival date to cancel reservation without penalty.

All refunds are subject to paypal fees or bank charges.

 

This is great news and we are booking our New Year's Day visit to Almapena!

It had rained earlier and the wind was up a bit so we didn't get to snorkle. The food was great and more than enough. You will enjoy it for sure.
