Security and Implanted Medical Device

I don't think the metal detector will affect the pump in any way. I'm just a little paranoid about it setting the alarm off.
Are ypu sure it's even metal? Alot of medical implanted things these day's are titanium. from my older surgery in my neck they were metal, now the replacements are titanium..

I was at a meeting at the courthouse a few weeks ago and went through the metal detector and set it off. However, it was at night and security wasn't on duty so I'm not 100% sure the pump was what set it off. There just didn't appear to be anything else on me to set it off. And, the ID card from the manufacturer says "I have an implanted medical device that may set off your airport/security system." So, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

DH is a Nascar fanatic. But, my employer's family use to do motorcross. I think they even had their own little track and everything. His son who is in he late 30's tried to get back into it a couple of years ago, but wrecked and nearly killed himself so he didn't stick with it.:)
